Vehicle valeting.

Superior Valet.

More local customers, more enquiries than one person could answer.

Livingston, West Lothian Website design and Local SEO 37 five star Google reviews

The brief.

What they needed.

James runs a high-end valeting and detailing unit in Livingston, competing in a busy market where most of the work goes to whoever comes up first when someone searches on their phone. His old site was not doing that, and a unit only earns when cars come through the door of that unit.

The work.

What I built.

A site built from the ground up around the services and the areas he covers, then the work that actually moves a local business.

His Google Business Profile is mine to look after: updates posted, the profile kept accurate rather than filled in once and forgotten. I gave him QR codes so customers can leave a review while they are still standing there with a clean car, and every review that comes in gets a reply from me, not a template.

He also gets grid tracker reports. That is a map of Livingston and the area around it with a pin at each point showing where he ranks, so he can see his visibility spreading outwards rather than take my word for it.

The result.

What changed.

James says the biggest change is the number of local customers coming into the Livingston unit.

That is not the website on its own. A site gets you something to be found on. The reviews, the profile and the steady local work are what get you found in the first place, and the grid reports show it happening month by month rather than leaving him to guess.

The enquiries now come in faster than one person can deal with them. He has taken on a virtual assistant purely to manage the diary.

Power On.

My take.

Hearing from James that he's struggling to keep up with the inbound is exactly what a website and local SEO working together should be doing. And seeing someone growing a business off the back of it is the best part of this job.

The evidence.

What it looks like on Google.

Captured on 25 August 2026. Second in the businesses list, on a question asked the way somebody actually asks it rather than the way a keyword tool writes it. Search results move, so treat this as a record of that day rather than a promise about today.

In their words.

What they said.

“Martin recently took on a ground up re build of my site for me, handled all my requests in a very timely manner and always made sure I was happy with how things were proceeding across the project. 10/10 would recommend”

What this involved Website design, Local SEO, Google Business Profile, Review management, Grid tracking

All recent work, and what changed for each of them.

There's a post about this build and one other, two businesses and the sites that came out of them, written when both went live.
